Social networks are great for keeping in touch with others. At the same time, what you put out there for the world to see can come back to haunt you. This article, taken from the August issue of PC World, gives tips for avoiding the pitfalls.
It is important for new teachers to remember to edit their facebook pages. All pictures & comments need to be student appropriate. I am a student in Janet Taylor's "tech" class & a visit to your blog spot is our first assignment.
The information concerning facebook and twitter is very informative and useful. I’ve never been crazy about using sites like that anyway and this validates my fears. Dr. Buck you’re doing a great job, keep up the good work. We’re Clanton Alabama doing an assignment for administrators as a professional learning community with Janet Taylor. She’s good.
