Hello!

Well, an issue I have regarding Facebook, that doesn't seem addressed so far, is the control over my information and what Facebook does with it. I still don't get a say on to whom my data can or can't be sold, what can or can't be done with what I put in my profile, but most importantly, I don't get a say about erasing my profile. As a former user, I can't simply erase my profile, as Facebook can keep it up there for as long as they choose to, and probably profit from it while they do.

So, truly, where is the control over your data?

Hi Storm Bunny! It's good to hear from you. No doubt, privacy in general is a growing issue in our society. Once we give personal information to a company, we have in effect given them control over what they choose to do with it. So, I think we have to think twice about the effects of sharing personal information. In this particular case, at least we can keep other people from skimming information about us from our Facebook pages.
